Our strength lies in a hands-on operational approach — turning theory into real practice.
Each program combines technical knowledge, case-based learning, and real-life ship scenarios to ensure that participants can perform effectively onboard and respond with confidence under any condition.

Programs for Ship Operators and Owners
Weskrog Training Center offers a comprehensive testing and evaluation system developed specifically for ship operators and owners who wish to verify and strengthen the professional competence of their crew.
Our program has become one of the most valued assessment tools in the maritime sector, thanks to its structured methodology, relevance of questions, and transparent evaluation process.
Our objective is to provide a real, evidence-based evaluation of each seafarer’s competence level. How the Program Works
The evaluation begins with a detailed review of each candidate’s CV and career background.
From this information, our instructors — all marine superintendents, masters, and chief engineers — identify the key technical and operational areas to be tested according to:
From this information, our instructors — all marine superintendents, masters, and chief engineers — identify the key technical and operational areas to be tested according to:
- The rank and position claimed by the candidate
- The specific requirements of the shipowner or management company
The candidate then receives two or more online tests, forming part of the Level 1 Evaluation.
These tests measure both theoretical knowledge and practical reasoning, using real-life maritime scenarios to assess how the candidate would act onboard.

At the end of the process, Weskrog issues a Competence Evaluation Diploma, providing an objective assessment of the candidate’s suitability for the declared position.
For example, if a candidate applies as Master, the diploma clearly indicates whether his knowledge and operational capacity correspond to that level and confirms that he has been accepted according to Weskrog’s internal professional evaluation standards.

This means that the candidate has been evaluated and approved under Weskrog’s quality framework, ensuring that only personnel meeting our high technical and operational standards are recognized as qualified for their role.
However, this does not automatically qualify the person to join a specific vessel.
Depending on the type of ship and operational requirements, the candidate may need to successfully complete additional tests — Level 2, Level 3, or Level 4 — focused on the systems, cargo operations, or safety procedures of that particular vessel.
